Kakano Whare
(3 months old - 2.5 years)
At Kākano Whare, we provide a calm, loving, and nurturing environment for our youngest tamariki, aged 3 months to 2 years. We understand that the early years are the foundation of a child’s learning journey, so our dedicated team of kaiako (teachers) focus on building strong, trusting relationships with each child. Our space is thoughtfully designed to support exploration, encourage development, and provide the comfort of home. With responsive care, sensory-rich activities, and plenty of cuddles, we ensure your little one thrives in a safe and supportive setting.
Koru Whare
(2.5 years - 3.5 years)
At Koru Whare, we provide a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment for children aged 2 to 3 years. Rooted in care, connection, and early learning, our whare (home) is a place where tamariki are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive at their own pace. Our dedicated kaiako (educators) support each child’s unique journey through play-based learning, cultural grounding, and genuine aroha (love).
Waka Whare
(3.5 years - 6 years)
At Waka Whare, we care for tamariki aged 3 years until they are ready to take the next step into primary school. Our whare provides a warm, supportive environment where children build confidence, independence, and essential skills through play, exploration, and meaningful connections. Guided by experienced kaiako, tamariki are nurtured in their learning journey with a strong focus on social development, early literacy, and cultural identity, helping them feel ready and excited for the transition to kura (school).
